Education: Adam was educated at the University of Waterloo, graduating from the
Kinesiology program. Areas of study included exercise physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition,
among other areas. Adam graduated with his BSc in 1998.
Certification: Adam remains current in the
National Coaching Certification
Program. He is a certified coach in the disciplines of
swim, bike, and triathlon.
Coaching Experience: Adam has been actively coaching athletes since 2000. He
has worked with age group and elite athletes, beginners to advanced. His athletes have
qualified for and completed the Ironman Hawaii (both age group and elite), 70.3 World
Championship (age group), ITU Elite Triathlon World Championships, ITU Age Group Triathlon
World Championships, Elite Triathlon National Championships, and the Boston Marathon. He has
helped over 100 age group athletes complete Ironman. His athletes consistently set
personal bests.
Personal Athletic Experience:
Adam has completed several triathlons and running events as an age group athlete. He is a
veteran of four Ironmans, numerous marathons, and several short course triathlon and
running events.
